Missing or Invalid CPT code value
Error
This error may be caused by a �Cross Reference code� in your Procedure table in Maintenance.
To check this CPT code:
1) Go to Maintenance
2) Go to Procedures
3) Look up the existing CPT code
4) Check the Cross Reference Code field on the bottom of the screen.� If there is more than a 5 character CPT code in this field, it will cause rejections.� The internal code at the top of the screen can remain with up to 10 characters because this is not the code sent to the insurance carrier.� If you have an �automatic� modifier attached to this code in the cross reference area, remove the modifier and place it in the �Modifier� box above.
